O Christmas Tree

I’m alerting you to this post because there is a Christmas tree party going on and I’m using an old post for my contribution.

Why?

because this post was a special one involving our oldest son decorating the Christmas tree for the first time.
This year, that son is coming home from boot camp and I decided to let him decorate the tree again.
So, my tree is sitting, undecorated until he comes home on the 20th.

So, take a peek at this post and see why I decided to do this.

Join our party too and show us your tree!

See you at the party!!!

  1. Lorraine, what a beautiful post. I just read your post from last year and tears started welling up in my eyes. I’m sure he’ll do a lovely job this year. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! x

  2. Thanks so much, Lorraine. Love this story. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  3. That’s tomorrow! How exciting! I thank your son for his service. Enjoy your time with him!

  4. Don’t know how I missed this post. Hope your time with your son was wonderful. I remember when my son was in boot camp – Ft Benning Ga, in the summer. Argh. Poison ivy deluxe. Anyway, I know how I cherished the time that I had with him. Hope your holidays were filled with love and happiness.
